Can I mix fondant and gumpaste together so that the fondant dries harder? I know that I can use tylose but that is not available in the stores where I live.

I always mix the two when doing shoes or anything decorative like that really. Dries nice and hard for me.

I mix about 50/50 - half gumpaste and half fondant - and was very happy with the result. Dried hard but stayed flexible enough to work with for awhile.
