Has anyone ever baked in 4'' cake pans...I'm starting to hate baking (2) 2'' pans for 3 teir cakes...I just want to bake once for each tier rather then double...

I use them. They work fine and they look better than the 2" pans.

oh great, i went to a cake shop and she kind of talked me out of the 4'' pans she said you never know if they'll bake even...i'm definetly buying 4'', thank.s

You meant 4" deep right? Sorry about that... I have a 4" (size) cake pan, I use 2 inch deep pans. I do have some 3 inch deep pans, but not 4 inch deep. I see why you would want a 4 inch deep one, so that you would not have to use 2 2 inch deep ones. Sorry for my misunderstanding.
