no, gel is slippery. I use icing. tiny dots of icing. works wonderfully....

I just push the pearls into the BC a little bit wherever the diamond impression mat makes the mark..... they stay stuck in great without the extra icing that sometimes shows if you use the icing dot icon_smile.gif. I also use tweezers when putting them on the cake--no finger print marks that way.

Ditto on the tweesers. the size tip i use for the dot is a 1 so nothing shows.

I can never get the pearls to stay in the tweasers, they are usually to big or slip right out. Any tips?
