I have a 3 tiered cake to be delivered tomorrow and it's leaning!! It appears as if the middle tier is the problem. Is there any way to fix it? I don't know what I did wrong...I leveled each layer , used cake boards in between, and measured my dowels. I thought about removing the top tier and trying to build up the middle with icing but figured once I put the top tier back on it would smash. Suggestions??
What kind of cardboard, what kind (and how many) dowels did you use? Do you have any pics?
It is very important to make sure your dowels (I use bubble tea straws) are cut exactly the same length.
It is too late for you now, but for those that aren't comfortable with BTS, or are new to stacking, the SPS system that Leah-s suggests is a good idea too.
