I was wondering if anyone knows an easy way to make foam for the top of a beer mug. Is there also an easy way to make the actual mug. I was thinking of putting a beer mug on a 9 x 13 cake. Any help would be great.

Thats a tricky one. You could do a mug out of isomalt but I know someone who did isomalt curls on a dessert and the isomalt melted into the dessert. If it can look cartoony maybe gumpaste is the best bet.
