Hi there,

I am wanting to make a burgundy or maroon type colour, but I don't want to go and buy a colour as it will be a one off as a gift for a friend.

Does anyone know how I can make this colour without having to go out and buy it?

Thanks for your help

Warm red with a touch of deep blue. I always mix a little icing on the side till I get the shade I want and then just keep adding.

You can also start with a light chocolate icing and add red to it.
