I am doing my first flip flop cake this weekend and they have requested hot pink/fuscia buttercream. I use Americolor and am using the fuscia color, but not getting that bright pink I need. Does it just take alot of the gel to make the correct color or should I be adding something else?

If you have access to Americolor Electric Pink I would try that mixed with your fuscia if you are looking for 'hot' pink.

I had not heard of electric pink, so that is probably what I need. Thanks bunches

If you can't Americolor right away and aren't adverse to buying a Duff Stuff, Duff has a line of electric colors. I haven't tried them yet, but thought it might be easier for you to get a hold of (I have to order Americolor online). HTH
