I'm doing my brother's wedding cake and his bride to be gave me this picture. I'm not sure what kind of flower this is or how to do it. Anyone know? If not, what flower would be close to this? I'm doing it for free so I'm sure she won't mind if I switch the flower up some. Thanks!

Not sure how to make it, but it sort of looks like a Poppy.

The large flowers look like they are made with just a round petal cutter or rose cutter. The smaller flowers look like the cutter in the green wilton flower set. Not sure what it is without going to look.

I think it's a poppy too. Sugarcraft has a poppy petal cutter for gumpaste.

Yeah, sort of like a free form poppy or maybe a 4 petal fantasy flower.

I'd use a tear drop shaped rose petal cutter and assemble with points to the center.

The small ones might be from a dogwood cutter. Larger ones look like poppy to me.

I agree - I think it is a California Poppy.
