Do you guys think this will work or will it be too overpowering with chocolate?
I wanted to make regular buttercream filling and put in finely chopped pieces of chocolate morsels in it- finely chopped enough where it's not huge chunks. Will this ruin the consistency of the buttercream?
that depends, what are you planning on using it on? For filling or to ice the cake with? Are you going to try to cover it with fondant if you want to use it to ice the cake?
I was planning on setting some aside to use as a crumb coat because i'm using fondant, but it would be mostly for the filling.
