Pan Size/technique ?

What size do you think these tiers are?

And also for the blue overlay on the top tier would I just freehand it and lay it on top of the white fondant and then add the border to cover the seams? Or if anyone has a better suggestion.

can you post a link to the photo?

Also, how many people are you trying to serve? Even if the tiers in the photo aren't the right size, just doing the same proportions (size difference inbetween the tiers) can still get you the same effect and get you the number of servings you're after.

Looks like there is at probably 3 inch difference

i was thinking maybe 4" difference.

But either way most likely a 6-9 or 6-10. How many servings are you trying to get?
