Okay so I started making the WASC cake, half recipe with 4 eggs, however my husband apparently boiled two of my remaining eggs last night to eat while I was at work. Now all I have is 2 large eggs, but TONS of Extra Large Eggs. So I'm wondering if I can use 2 large eggs and 1 extra large egg?? I cannot leave the house right now to get more. icon_sad.gif

I'd still put 4 eggs in - x-large eggs aren't normally that much larger than just large eggs.

I'd use the 2 large and 2 of the extra large...

maybe, for next time, measure out 4 large eggs and 4 xl eggs and see what the difference is so you would be able to better determine the call.

Thank you both! I will use my remaining 2 large eggs and 2 extra large eggs. For some reason I was fearing it would mess up the cake completely.
