I have a dilema!!! I'm in the process of making the grad cap for my daughters cake and I don't know what to use to hold it together. Is there anything other that royal icing??? someone please help!!!!! Thank you so very much. icon_rolleyes.gif

You can use piping gel or make an edible glue by adding just a small ball of gumpaste to a little bit of water - let it melt - and viola you have glue. HTH.

Oh my gwad..... I went through that.... asked here.... and CANDY MELTS!!! if you have them...u are saved! they work super fast and hold super strong.....

The board and cap are made from cany clay with a little gumpaste added for strength. My 1st time doing this. Thank you all for the great ideas..will use them 2mro. icon_biggrin.gif
