I just got my Cake Study stand from caljava. I'm trying to decide whether to decorate it at home or not. I really want to decorate at home so I can get it "just so" but I'm not sure how well that will hold up in the car. It looks rather involved to try and assemble the stand at the destination--I would have to do most of the decorations there.

Has anyone else transported a Cake Study cake already assembled?
