I know it probably shouldn't be that difficult, but I am trying to make a few small golf clubs to put on a cake and can't seem to get them to look like golf clubs. I've got the golf bags looking ok, but the clubs look more like cave man clubs. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

I would suggest using a cookie stick or lollipop stick as the shaft. Then, you can make the grip and the clubhead out of fondant or gumpaste and stick them on. Paint the whole thing with silver luster dust.

Thanks Diane, cover the stick with fondant or gumpaste?

I wouldn't cover the stick at all. Just paint it along with the rest of the club. The clubs in the pic below are only the bottom half, but the stick has not been covered.
