Is there anyway i can make navy blue fondant without using a ton of coloring? I have black fondant and thought about using it with some white to make a base color then add blue coloring from there but now that i think about it that just sounds silly!!! Any ideas??

I color my fondant royal blue then add a little (very little) black.

I think Americolor sells navy blue food coloring.

I started with the Satin Ice Blue (kind of a royal blue) and added a little black. I used it for the Chicago Bear cake in my photos.

Americolor does make a navy blue and it works very well, but you might want to make your fondant a light blue before starting. And make sure you give it some time to sit as the color will deepen. Good Luck!
