Does anyone know how many serving the half of a sports ball pan will serve?
I have an order for a ladybug cake and it's to serve 20-24 people.

not sure maybe 6-10 at most
i would do the half ball on top of a slightly larger single layer square cake
you could pipe it like it was a grassy field

Betty Crocker also puts out a cakepan caked the Bake N Fill and it comes with several sections and pans..One being a 8 inch half ball.That is what I use when I need a bigger ball.

The soccer ball pan would feed about that many ppl. I used the soccer ball (it's a half circle) pan to make the lady bug in my photos.
