I know this has been discussed, but for the life of me I can't find it. I want to make a stand up cake and would like to know how to take a box cake mix and make it more dense? Thank you in advance for the help.

I've had luck with a small box of pudding + an extra egg. icon_smile.gif

Add another egg. A great recipe is a pound cake by duncan hines...
1 pkg Duncan Hines® Moist Deluxe® Classic Yellow Cake Mix
1 (3.4 oz) pkg vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
4 large eggs
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil

good luck!
