I need to make a tassel for a graduation cake and have no ideas left on how to make the fondant to be consistent. The tassel is purple and gold so i can't us twissler.
I tried a cookie press
pasta spagehetti attachment BIG Mistake!
any other ideas?

If you don't have a clay extruder (the Makins' Ultimate Clay extruder, green metal with a "T" twist handle is the BEST), then I agree, a garlic press.

You can load it and if you need longer strands, just keep adding small amounts of fondant or a 50/50 mix w/ gum paste until you get the length you need.

What about some play-doh makers, they had a "thing" that pressed playdoh out in that fashion.
