I love the sugarshack icing recipe! I am wanting to make several different flavors of buttercream icing this weekend though. Has anyone tried flavoring the icing? I need to make a champagne icing and a caramel icing. I don't need a full batch of each. I'd like to make one full recipe of sugarshack and then separate and flavor. Thoughts?

I was thinking I would do my next batch that way myself. Leave out the extract in the initial batch and then divide my batch and flavor accordingly afterwards.
Let us know how it works out for you. I won't be making another batch for a week or so.

I didn't change the icing, but I did change my cake flavor. I made WASC champagne flavor by replacing the liquid with champagne. It has a nice hit of champagne flavor. I did pair it with regular sugarshack icing and it was mighty tasty.
I know you can change the icing flavor by using different creamers.
