I need major help. I feel so foolish!
I saw this amazing technique for making roses using a #1B tip. You just get some crusting buttercream and use a circular motion, starting smallest in the center, you can create the most beautiful frosting roses on cupcakes!
I (very foolishly) promised to share this technique on my blog, http://iammommy.typepad.com/i_am_baker, and now I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO IT!
I some how imagined that if I just purchased the #1B tip I would be able to figure it out, but I cant. And to top it off, I cant find the picture that I was using for a reference.
Does anyone know of or have a picture of this technique and would anyone be willing to share with me the secret of making a big beautiful #1B rose on a cupcake??
Are you sure it wasn't tip 2D that you were looking for?
Yes... I am sure. I had emailed the creator and asked what tip she used...
But do you think you can get that same effect with a 2D?
