Hi there i am making a wedding cake soon, she wants plain choc cake and told me to suprise her with the iceing and filling. I was wanting to go with just vanilla buttercream. But what kind of filling would you suggest with choc cake and vanilla buttercream. I wanted to do something diff but not to hard just easy ill be making two cakes for this wedding and i need an easy good filling recipe? oh an any suggestions on a quick yummy buttercream recipe would be wonderful

Bettercream with melted chocolate mixed into it. for a filling is good.

I made a quick variation on filling recently. I added a jar of Nutella to some vanilla buttercream. It was very thick, but got rave reviews.
