I survived making my first wedding cake (Black and White Cake Grouping in my photos) and the cake survived too! A tremendous thank you to all the experienced bakers and decorators on Cake Central. Thank you for generously sharing your tips, techniques, and recipes. I love this website!

I made an entire batch of MMF black, I added nearly 1 whole container of Wilton icing black to the melted marshmallows right out of the microwave. It worked great working with the colored marshmallows, and didn't stain my counter or hands like I expected.

thanks for your answer I will try to make my own black this way, another question have you try to make red?
