I forgot to add the extra egg to the cake mix when I added the box of pudding. I realized it after the cake had been in the oven for 20 minutes. Will the cake be useable or should I be baking another one?

I have done that before and the cake still tasted fine, it just wasnt as moist. Maybe you should shave some off after it comes out and taste it for yourself.

When adding the extra egg and box of pudding do you need to increase the amount of water also? I tried this last week and the batter seemed so thick that I decided to add extra water. The cake came out very lopsided and it took a very long time to bake.

Thanks for the advice. Next try, I'll just follow the directions on the box and add 1 extra egg and 1 small box of pudding and see how that turns out.

When I add the pudding and extra egg, I up my oil to 1/2 cup instead of 1/3 cup.
