Black Piano Keys

Hello everyone , I need some help icon_confused.gif
I am making a 2tier vanilla cake for a piano recital It is a gift
1-10 2layer 1-6 2layer DULCE DE LECHE FILLING, butter cream icing with fondant on top of both cakes. 16 boards covered in fondant that is embossed to look like piano keys (white) My question is: Should I put the black keys, before the cake so that they will be underneath? Or should I put the black keys after?
I will try to Put the design that I am doing. By the way this is a Debbiew1 design icon_smile.gif Thank you in advanced.

Music Note Cake

This was made for my Mum's 70th birthday. Fondant covered mud cake with all of the notes, piano keys, letters & the piano on top made from liquorice.

if you are trying to replicate the design you linked to, then I would put them on after you put the cake on the board. They sit up off of the board in the photo you linked to.

Thank you leily icon_smile.gif and yes at this time I am just copying cakes that have themes I need , hopefully I wiil do fine eventhoug the white keys took me 2hrs to make icon_redface.gif I will post picture after Saturday.
