Cupcake Icing???

What would be your suggestion for a cupcake icing?

I have used a Buttercream (Peggy Porschen) but I hink it's a bit too sweet.
I would love to hear what others use that taste great but not overly sweet.

Swiss Meringue Buttercream or Italian Meringue Buttercream are not as sweet as American buttercream. They are delicious icon_biggrin.gif

second that!! I use Warren Brown's IMBC on my cupcakes and have recv'd a few "OMG, this is the best cupcakes I've ever had" comments....using Scott Wholley's choc cake recipe...so really I can't take cred for any of it! icon_wink.gif
