So I a cake due Friday morning. They want Iron Man, Spiderman, and Wolverine.
I had this cool idea. I printed out comic book pages and was going to have them copied on to rice paper. Then I was going to make the Wolverine claw for the center focal point.

Well the place I always go will no longer make copies of stuff that could have a copy right....like my Marvel SuperHeros.

So...now I am stuck. What else could I do???? Any ideas??

I always point out this cake when trying to explain copyright laws. It's a perfect example of how to do a character cake legally. Notice the actual cake is just a cityscape with some spiderwebs. The Spiderman is a toy.

Yeah, I get the whole copy right thing. Just wish i would have known that before I was all excited about this cake I was doing. Then I had to come up with a new idea in the store!!! Annoying!! HA!
