How long do you typically let your larger cakes cool in their pans? Per say a 14 in square cake? I usually do about 10 min... is that long enough for bigger cakes though?
I cool in the pan for 10 minutes for all of my cakes. With larger cakes I flip it out of the pan onto a cakeboard then onto the cooling rack. That way I don't risk it breaking or splitting on me.
I wait 20-30 minutes.
