I need help getting dressed icon_lol.gif
I am attending the reception only (making and cutting cake, but won't be able to attend wedding and bride/friend still wants me there for reception). The wedding is at a church with mass. The reception is at a VFW/Elks hall. Wedding is at 1:00, reception at 3:30. It's late May in Florida. Can I get away with a sundress with heels?

In my book you can! I attended over 6 weddings during last years 'wedding season', served my cake at everyone of them and wore dressy capris with a jacket, great jewelry and cute shoes! And there were lots of others there in sundresses and heels - or flats - and in capris too.

Go for it and be comfortable!

Is the reception inside??
If so it wont be warm at all.
We have a tendency to crank up the ac to freezing here in Florida.
If the invitation calls for casual go for it, just make sure to bring a shawl in case its cold in the hall

Good point! I think I'll get a sweater to wear overtop. Yes, it is inside.
