I just started this new adventure in cake decorating. This is my second cake. I know it's not great, but I think it's not bad for my second cake. I love doing this!

You did a good job! It looks really good. Your icing came out really smooth.

I spent the last several evenings making the flowers. Most are with those nasty Wilton cutters, but the leaves are different cutters. Thank you SO MUCH for asking if they were real! Wow! That made my day!!

Great Cake! Did you take any kinds of classes?

Wow, excellent job for your 2nd cake! I'm just learning too; just finished my 4th cake. Now that I have a few flower cutters, I can only hope my first attempt at them will look 1/2 that nice!

Nasty cutters? Oh no, I just bought those. I have to start some where. Tell me more!

Your cake and decorations are beautiful. Cake decorating is definitely something that satisfies the creative urge in me.

The Wilton cutters are part of a one-piece of plastic, where you twist them off. It leaves a little plastic bump, which is uncomfortable when you press it down into the gumpaste. Other than that, they seem to be ok, but I do find that annoying.

I haven't taken any classes yet, but have been reading books and watching tutorials. I have signed up for a Wilton class again in June. Looking forward to it.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments! This is so much fun!!!
