Can americolor drops normally used for cake icings be used to color candy melts? Do I need to do anything different

water based coloring will cause chocolate and candy melts to seize - you'll need an oil-based color made for candy.

americolor does make something that you can add to the chocolate so you can use their normal colors, i can't remember the name of it right now though, i want to say flo-coat, but i don't think that is right. HOpefully some one who knows for sure can post what it is.

Buying this one other thing will help keep you from having to have two sets of colors.
