How Do I Make My Bct Smoother??

I use the recipe on here and it turns out ok but I see so many others where their transfer is so smooth! How do I get that effect?

After I turn my transfer out onto the cake, I let it come to room temp and crust. Then I VIVA it just like I do my cake.
