PLEASE someone tell me they feel the same. After working and working on cakes I love the left overs with fondant after it is stored in a sealed container. Seems the fondant returns to the fresh texture, and the taste is intensified. Wish I could serve them this way. Oh to only have the refined taste buds of some. Where can I order them?
I don't know if you necessarily have bad taste buds...you just like what you like! I freeze the scraps from leveled cakes to use later for cake balls and whenever I get a sweet craving I'll nibble on frozen pieces of cake. I'd almost rather have it that way.....ice cold, firm, with no frosting!
I agree the scraps are the best part!!!!
