Hello All!
I have a cake business that I run from my home. My DH and I have been trying to come up with some ideas for drawing business in.
We just came up with one, so I want to get CC members input on it, because I am new to all of this.
Here is the idea:
Go to local businesses and hand out a "sample" box along with my cards. In this sample box have a couple of different things that I make inside like: Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Chocolate Covered Strawberrys, Cookies, one mini cake...ect...
Our thoughts is that the people that work there would be potiental customers, and they would be more willing to suggest to their clients or friends.
Let me know what ya'll think about this idea, and also some other items that could go inside the box!
Thanx!!

Sure. I think that many of us have dropped off samples and biz cards to other businesses.

Debi recommends dropping them off with the business's HR rep (if it's a larger company) rather than just the receptionist. The HR rep would be more likely to tell people who it's from rather than the employees just stopping by the desk to grab a free cookie.

I think that was her jist anyways.

Cupcakes with some of your offered cake flavours would be nice too.
