How would I get choc chips throughout the cake as opposed to sinking to the bottom? I'm using Betty Crocker white mix, with whole eggs. Should I add half of the chips in the beginning and then the other half after a little bit of baking? Need cake for tomorrow. TIA!

Mix the choc. chips with a bit of reserved flour or cake mix, then stir them in after mixing the rest of the ingredients.
