So I am trying to make a cinderella dress cake for my daughter and I used to wondermold pan for the first time tonight and....they lie - 6 cups of batter is not enough...
So I was thinking - can I torte and fill the wondermold cake? Then I figured I would add another 8 inch under that with just 2 -1" layers and then the whole thing ontop of a 12" since I need the room for the rest of the decorations?

Oh ya....does anyone know how much batter this pan REALLY uses?

I have torted and filled a wondermold cake and had no problems; others will tell you differently. I don't know exactly how much batter it takes but you can fill it with water and then pour the water into measure cups to tell you how much it holds.

I have given up on my wonder mold pan. I used RKT recently and it works so much better! icon_smile.gif
