Hi all
i need some help i made black fondant with ready to roll fondant and liquorice black food gel and now my fondant is toooooo soft and sticky any advice would be great thanks in advance icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

add confec sugar a little at a time until it is the right consistency. HTH

To much powdered sugar will make the texture very crumbly. It will rip like crazy when you roll it , let alone try to cover a cake with it. Try adding a very very small amount of tylose and let the fondant rest for a bit.
