Just a quick question for those in the know: What is the best brand of silver and gold luster dusts that give you an honest to goodness shiny, solid silver or gold color? The ones I have tried are all thin and do not look shiny at all (not at all like the ones you see used when someone is doing the gold buckles on a purse or suitcase cake). Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Steph

I've used CK's super gold and really liked how it turned out. I made a pair of Navy wings for a cake, and the family was having trouble taking flash pictures of the cake because it would reflect off of the wings.

I used crystal colors in antique gold and love the result, I think it would work with other colors as well.

Thanks, guys! I will have to try those! Do you order both of those from Global Sugar Art or another online store?
