Cricut Cake Question

I all I love my new cricut cake, but I am having trouble getting the fondant off of the mat after its cut. Any tips on getting it off with out disfiguring the cut item? thanks

Make sure you have enough shortening on the mat prior to rolling the fondant on. I then had to let my characters dry overnight before I could move them. Gumpaste I could move sooner.

Did u buy the cricut cake tool kit? I just got it and it has a spatula that works great for removing them. Also you can freeze it in the freezer for 5 minutes and they come off great then. Hope this helps! Cristie

thanks for the tips, yes i ordered the tool kit an hopefully it will help, funny freezing works i thought letting them set would help it only made it worse.
