I am icing a wedding cake for this weekend and I am having an awful time with the buttercream! It is bubbling and pulling away from the cake. I thought maybe it was too dry so I added some more milk but that hasn't fixed the problem. Does anyone have any ideas of how I could fix this problem? Thank you sooo much in advance!
Is your cake at room temperature? Have you crumb coated it?
These seem to be the either/or both the problem when I have experienced this problem.
