I can't find it anywhere. I want to try Macsmom's fondant recipe and it calls for it. If I can't find it, what can I substitute it for? TIA

popcorn salt is a very VERY fine salt, usually found in the grocery, in with the regular table salt. If it's not there, check in the snack/popcorn aisle.

If you don't have it, you 'can' use regular table salt, but the popcorn salt is super fine so it dissolves really easy.

Yes, I've found it at WalMart near the baking soda, etc. on the top shelf of the baking goods aisle.

In the grocery store, I usually find it where the unpopped popcorn (in jars) is located.

Thanks everyone. Whenever I'm in the supermarkets and I remember, I always look in the salt section they have sea salt but no popcorn, Never even occured to me to look in the popcorn section. No walmarts in my area.

would also love to hear the answer to this...I can't find it either and I've looked in two different local supermarkets and the WalMart!

I just bought some from Walmart today. It was in the same area as the regular salt, but on the top shelf.
