I need to know how to make the long stem part.

Roll a rope out of green gumpaste and slide it up the wire?

Or keep wrapping the wire until it builds up the thickness you want.

I use multiple wires...

I heard back from the decorator who made that particular Calla...he said that he uses drinking straws, inserts gumpaste 1/2"-1" into straw, inserts Calla wire and wraps with floral tape.
