This is probably a really stupid question, but I'd rather ask it instead of getting frustrated later this week. I'm doing a cake for a friend and they want buttercream icing, not fondant, which is fine. Can I attach fondant ribbon/streamers to buttercream or will they fall? I'm just not certain that the buttercream will hold the fondant. I'd appreciate any guidance you can give. Thanks!
Are you going to wrap the fondant ribbon around the cake? Or are you trying to do something else?
