I am trying to make the gelatin bows (plain with no texture) and my problem is how to spread the gelatin mixture onto a clear plastic sheet evenly? I doesn't spread evenly and I get lumps and puddles here and there... is there a trick to this? I used 21/2 tbsp water to 1 tbsp gelatin. I poured it first and spread it with spatula wasn't even and then I used a painting brush still wasn't even....any help is appreciated.
