Hi, I am thinking about starting a new business in my small town, there are no other cake shops expect brookshires deli so people have to drive 45 mins to the next town to get them. I wanna have a shop with cakes, cookies, cupcakes and then party stuff (ex: custom invites etc) I was just wondering if anyone had any tips they coudl share about trying to start a new shop thanks

Based on the numerous threads from our Texas CC'ers ....... No.

A bill to permit in-home licensing was recently defeated in the Texas Statehouse. You might search for this thread for some add'l info.
