Wanted: More Dense Doctored Cake Mix

Tried WASC, but just too dense for me. Kind of dry too. Any suggestions? I've heard of adding pudding.

instant pudding and an extra egg and your good to go

You also want to use less oil for a denser cake. The cake receipe that I use doen't have any oil in it.

so mamawrobin, what is the recipe you are talking about with no oil?

I used the recipe here on CC for Durable cake and it was wonderful:

I used French Vanilla pudding, and lite sour cream (bought by mistake, but seemed to work just fine)
