I Hate Square Cakes And Buttercream. Haha.

Had to do a two tiered square cake, with airbrushed stencils and double ribbon.
First of all one gets used to fondant, to where you can nick it with your finger or brush up against it without feeling like cussing because you just messed up the cake. haha.
Then, I can't make a crusting buttercream without airbubbles. Can I hire somebody to make my buttercream???? I have a noncrusting one that smooths nice but its not as popular and doesn't taste as nice as the sweeter kind, although its very pretty for wedding cakes.
Next, I hate square cakes! Hard to get the sides perfectly straight and even.... But it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to put DOUBLE ribbon around it, which puckers out if you didn't get the sides of the square immaculately perfect within a 100th of a centimeter.... ARGHHHH
I hope my customer likes this cake okay. *sigh*
Oh well!
Sorry you're having a "square buttercream cake" kind of day! I can't tell you how much I sympathize . May your ribbon pucker less, and may you not end up cutting all your fingernails off by the end of the day!
