Fondant Colors & Can Help

I'm still pretty new to using fondant and I'm having trouble getting it dark. I'm doing ok tinting it...but I can't make a good dark solid color, they always come out almost pastel. I'm going to be making 2 pizza cakes next week and want to make olives. I've seen a ton of pics on here of people using fondant to make them, but I can't figure out how they got the fondant so dark! (I just realized that I have some pre-colored black fondant, but my question still stands as I would love to have better information for next time!) icon_smile.gif

Also, I will be making a beer can (too bad this client is my cousin! I would have made a TON of money on this order if it were anyone else in the world!) and I'm a little concerned about making the top lip of the can and the plan for the cake itself is to make probably 3 6inch cakes and stack them.....also, if I'm making this to stand up, will my edible image stay on ok?
