I sell cookies, and cake truffle and all kinds of home made candy. But not cakes... yet.

I am just not comfortable with my skill level yet.

My hubby and bf think i should have taken it anyways........

Is it a design that you can do? What scares you about the order?

I have taken several cakes over the last two years that scared me to death, but I got through them and came out the other end with a much stronger sense of my capabilities.

You won't know if you can do it if you don't try!

well my main issue right now is that i have alot on my plate with my farmers markets right now ( im in 3)

And i also dont have my pricing down, I so dont want to be one of those people who accept an order without knowing what to charge.

And if im not confident in my work yet, how can the customer?

I have only been taking cupcake orders as I doubt myself as well but I think I just have to bite the bullet and give it a shot! You never know till you try. Your cookies are amazing so you obviously have the talent!

No problem and I completely understand. I had someone approach me last minute to do a cake that was crazy for someone who just doesn't do them I ended up convincing him to do cupcakes and said it was because of time limitations not because of a lack of confidence.

you have to start somewhere...and the more practice you get, the better your skill becomes..I have taken on many a cakes where I just wasn't quite sure what to do. But, in the end I surprised myself..
