I don't know what I am doing wrong, but I can not get that nice 'swirl' on my cupcakes. What tip should I be using? I've tried 6B and 1M. Is there a certain angle I should have my tip at?
Help!
Thanks!!

For cupcakes I use Ateco
- #844 for swirls
- # 864 for ridges
- #803 for smooth

I use 1M mostly. Just hold it straight up and only move your wrist when you swirl it around. Maybe you're trying to be too careful. Just have fun with it! icon_smile.gif

I use the 1M lots and now I am using the 1B lots. I start from the center of the cupcake and work out holding the bag completely straight up and down. just swirl around till you reach the outer edge release pressure and lift bag.
