Hi all,

Need some help with a request for a cake.

Well, actually 2 cakes.

The dad is turning 65 next month, so the family is having a birthday party...he isn't retiring, just celebrating icon_smile.gif

The mom turned 65 last fall, and they had a small family party, but apparently, mom is feeling a little "left out" with all the party preparations for Dad.

So the family wants to surprise her with a cake too.

Any suggestions for two similar cakes?
Or cakes that compliment one another?

Dad is into hunting, and the like - but they don't want a deer/moose/duck/gun theme...mom is into family, flowers etc.

Sheet cakes are fine, I'd rather do the 2 tier route.

Thanks for any and all help!!!

You could do a garden with a couple sitting on a bench. The man could be wearing camo and have his gun or fishing pole on the ground next to him. I think it would be funny to have him aiming his gun at a passing squirrel or rabbit, but maybe not what you're going for. icon_lol.gif The woman could have her gardening tools or some flowers next to her. Like they are just taking a break from the activities of the day.
